Alan is the Director of Business Development. He joined the firm in 2007 and has over 20 years of investment experience. Alan is responsible for distribution and marketing through intermediaries in the separately managed account (SMA) marketplace.

Prior to joining the firm Alan was the Director of Managed Accounts at Thompson, Siegel & Walmsley LLC where he was responsible for all aspects of SMA management and service. Alan has been directly involved in the SMA industry since its inception and has a wide range of experience relating to it.

Alan earned a B.B.A from the College of William & Mary in Virginia. He also holds an M.S. in Finance from Virginia Commonwealth University. Alan has obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
